Getting to you in Pacific Beach
There is no drive to speak of. We are already in 92109, so the only thing that slows us down is Garnet Ave on a weekend evening, and we know the ways around it. For car lockouts, tell us the lot: Tourmaline Surfing Park at the foot of Tourmaline St, the Law Street lot by Palisades Park, the streets around Crystal Pier at Garnet and Mission, or Fanuel Street Park on Sail Bay. If you are on the boardwalk with no address, the nearest street ending (Thomas, Reed, Felspar, Emerald) is enough for us to find you. North of Tourmaline the boulevard runs straight into Bird Rock, so those calls are nearly as quick as one inside PB.
What we see most in PB
PB is original beach cottages, 1960s and 70s apartment buildings, newer condos and a large number of vacation rentals, and that mix drives the work. Cottages and older apartments usually still have decades-old hardware pitted by salt air, so deadbolt replacements in finishes that survive the ocean are a weekly job. South of Grand, along Mission Blvd and the bay, density jumps: apartment buildings, condos with sliding patio doors and shared entry doors that get propped open and worn out, a pattern that continues into Crown Point on the bay side and down Mission Blvd into Mission Beach.
